Alana S. Kulesa, Executive Director

 

Alana is the chief operational officer for the AMD3 Foundation responsible for the overall coordination of programs, fundraising, communications, financial operations and relationships with outside organizations. She manages the day-to-day operations as well as strategic development of the organization.

Alana joined the AMD3 Foundation in May, 2008.  Her professional background has been focused on educational programming, non-profit management and administration, and fundraising which has involved donor cultivation campaigns, special events, and collaborative partnerships with many grant making foundations. She has worked at a variety of museums in North Carolina, Washington D.C., New York City and Pittsburgh including: the Duke University Museum of Art, the American Association of Museums,       more

 
Paula Deasy, Program Officer

 

Paula comes to the AMD3 Foundation after 3 years as the associate director of the MERITS of Pittsburgh Program at Carnegie Mellon University’s Medical Robotics group in the School of Computer Science.  Prior to that she spent 8 years working as associate director for Alumni Relations at Carnegie Mellon. She received her B.S. in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon, and her M.Ed. and M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.



 
Jill Amber Graham, Program Associate

 

Jill Amber Graham earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication at Chatham College. She started her career in the communications department at Heinz North America. After leaving Heinz, Jill filled a variety of classroom and communication roles at a local early childhood education non-profit before joining The AMD3 Foundation as Program Associate.




Mary Thompson, Director of Programs

 

Mary Thompson has been involved in various aspects of the travel and meeting industry for over 25 years.  Previously she owned a business and served on the board of directors for a national association.  She currently serves on the board of directors for the Arizona Chapter of Canine Companions for Independence.
